Vanessa has worked in Chiswick, West and Central London for the last 16 and a half years teaching fitness at all levels from the frail and de-conditioned to clients with high-end specific sport training needs plus rehabilitation from acute and chronic injuries in conjunction with medical specialists.
She opened London Pilates Studio following two years at the Royal Automobile Club in Piccadilly where she taught Pilates classes to groups of members as well as 1-2-1 workouts to individuals. Her classes soon became a busy and popular aspect of the club’s sports and wellbeing facility
Qualified STOTT Pilates® Instructor
First drawn to Pilates through personal experience Vanessa became a devotee of STOTT PILATES®, a modern, anatomically-based interpretation of traditional Pilates. Following four years’ intensive study she is now a certified STOTT PILATES instructor. These highly qualified practitioners are recognised by physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors to be the professionals’ choice.

Vanessa believes that everyone can benefit from Pilates.
She has seen how clients have improved their posture, been freed from back pain, gained a leaner look and grown confident with their new body shape. Vanessa has a special interest in spinal rehabilitation and general back care. She believes that Pilates can be paced according to the individual and has some innovative pieces of equipment that blend cardiovascular fitness into the Pilates work out.
Her special non-impact exercises that still load the bones help prevent osteopenia and osteoporosis. Vanessa’s tailored fitness programmes will improve sports performance for the general enthusiast and she has also achieved superb results with workouts designed for specific sports including golf, tennis, cricket, running, swimming and rowing.
